A good rule of thumb is to order your hosting plan based on the size of your business
and the number of email accounts you require. For example, our basic plan is geared
towards small business and offers 10 email accounts. Since you can upgrade to
any plan at anytime free of charge, ordering the basic hosting plan is a good

How do I order a website hosting plan?
You can order a hosting plan 24 hours a day 7 days a week by visiting:

Then simply complete our easy online ordering form. You can also phone in your
order by calling 800-535-1322.
How do I order a hosting plan and a brand new domain
name online at the same time?
First, you need to check to see if your domain name
is available by going to www.atlashosting.com and doing a search for the name.
Once you know the name is available, you can place your order online by using
any one of our hosting plan signup forms, (Basic, Professional, Advanced or e-Commerce).
Please note, you do not have to register the name separately and you only have
to fill out one online form. Atlas Hosting will process everything on the order
form and your account will be set up within 10 minutes.
How do I order a hosting plan for a domain name
that I have previously registered with Atlas Hosting?
If you already have a domain name registered with Atlas
Hosting, our accounting system will already have an account set up for you. Therefore,
if you would like to order a hosting plan for your previously registered domain
name, you must place your hosting order by telephone at 1-800-535-1322 or in Connecticut
at 203-481-9458 between the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST.
How do I order an Atlas hosting plan for a domain name
that I have previously registered with a different company?
If you have a current domain name that was registered
with another company, you can order any one of our hosting plans, (Basic, Professional,
Advanced or e-Commerce), online, by simply filling out the plan form and including
your existing domain name on that form.
What do I do if I placed my order online and got
an error message?
If you received an error message while placing an order
online, it may be caused from clicking the "Complete Signup" button
more than once on the order form. It could also occur if you already have a domain
registered with us and are trying to order a hosting account under the same name.
If you place an online order with us and are not sure if your order was processed
properly, you may contact us at sales@atlashosting.com so that we can verify receipt
of your order.
What do I get when I order a website hosting plan?

What happens after I order a website hosting plan?
Immediately after your order is placed your account is setup on on of our servers.
Within 10 minutes you will be emailed your order confirmation which includes the
necessary information so you can begin uploading your website to our servers.
At that time you will also have access to your control panel, this will allow
you to setup email accounts and configure any website options if necessary.
I don't have a website, can you help me build one?
Yes, included for FREE with all our hosting plans is easy website building software
(SiteStudio) that will allow you to build a professional website with no programming
experience required. Build your own website by choosing from over 100 template

How will I be billed for my account?
Your monthly billing is determined by your sign-up date. For
example if you signed up on December 5, your first billing cycle covers December
5th to January 5th. Monthly credit card billing usually takes place within 7 days
or less, prior to your cycle end date.
What types of payment does Atlas Hosting accept?
Our preferred method of payment is via Mastercard, Visa and
American Express. We also accept business checks and money orders. If you prefer
to pay by business check or money order please call us at 800-535-1322 or contact
us via our support contact form to arrange payment. If
you choose to pay by check or money order, please note that due to the number
of accounts we manage we require you to pay for an entire years worth of hosting
in advance. You will receive 2 months free by paying for a year in advance.
Is there a 100% 30 day money-back guarantee?
Yes, All shared web hosting accounts carry a 30 day unconditional
money back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with our services within
the first 30 days of sign-up, you will be given a full refund of the monthly fees,
excluding any domain registration charges (if applicable).
What happens when I go over the data transfer allowed
on my account?
We believe in giving your web site the flexibility to grow.
If you do exceed your allowed bandwidth transfer your website will continue to
function normally You can upgrade to a higher plan that allows more transfer,
or you can choose to remain in your current plan and be billed for bandwidth usage
over your plans maximum.
What do you charge for extra bandwidth?
If you go over your allowed bandwidth amount for the billing
period and you do not choose to upgrade your plan, you are billed at $3.50 per
gig over your plans maximum. Example: You are allowed 40 Gig per month, you have
an excellent month and use 45 Gig. You would be billed $3.50 X 5 for the 5 gig
overage.
What happens if my credit card is declined?
If we attempt to bill your credit card after signing up and
it is declined we will make every attempt to contact you to arrange another method
of payment. If after 7 days we have not received payment or a response from you,
your site may be taken offline. |
